Request deletion
Students can delete their account in Settings. Choose “Email deletion confirmation”, open the link sent to your account email, and sign in to that same account if needed. Type DELETE and choose “Permanently delete my account”. Links expire in 15 minutes; opening a link alone deletes nothing.
This permanently removes your profile, sign-in connections, sessions, saved submissions, learning progress and discussion posts. Other learners’ replies remain. Minimal payment records may remain without your account link or provider payload, and backups expire under their configured retention policy. Save any work you want to keep first.
If you cannot sign in, cannot receive the confirmation email, have a staff account, or want only connected-provider data removed, use the email request process below. You do not need to be signed in to contact us.
- Email awale822@gmail.com with the subject “Kobciye Studio data deletion request”.
- Include the email address associated with your Kobciye Studio account. Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted or only information associated with a connected Google or Facebook sign-in.
- When possible, send the request from your account’s email address. If you cannot access it, say so; we will discuss another way to verify ownership. Never send passwords, login codes or access tokens.
What happens next
For email support requests, we review the request, verify ownership and reply by email with the next steps or confirmation. Manual deletion is not immediate. If you need an update, reply to the same email thread.
Full account deletion ends access to the account and may permanently remove associated enrolments, saved work and progress. Save any work you want to keep before confirming deletion.
We review account details, linked sign-in information, learning records and discussion contributions within the scope of your request. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised as appropriate. Limited records may remain for security, disputes or applicable legal obligations; we will explain any exceptions. Backup copies may remain until their retention period ends.
Google and Facebook connections
You can also revoke Kobciye Studio’s access through your provider’s account settings. Facebook’s controls are generally under “Apps and websites”; Google’s are under third-party connections. Revoking access at the provider does not itself delete your Kobciye Studio account or learning records.
Facebook login is still being prepared. These instructions also cover Facebook-related data if you connect it after it becomes available. Removing a sign-in connection can affect your ability to log in; confirm you have another sign-in method first.
